Join us for a U.S. West Coast inspired Supper Club on Sunday 15 November 2015 at 2pm. We are just back from a trip to the West Coast of the U.S. We spent lots of time eating and drinking beer on an epic road trip from San Francisco to San Diego. Highlights included visiting some of the most famous craft breweries in the U.S.A, like the Russian River Brewing Company, as well as a meal at Alice Waters legendary restaurant, Chez Panisse.
Here are the details:
The menu: A West Coast inspired feast. Think local, seasonal, artisanal and letting the ingredients speak for themselves. This will be all mixed in with a bit of the fusion cuisine that the West Coast is famous for, expect a bit of Asian and Mexican flair.

Welcome Drink – Orange County Beer Margaritas
Nopa’s Whipped Goat’s Cheese, Sourdough Crostini, Persimmon & Pears
Nopalito’s Fish Tacos with Orange & Pasilla Crema
Ceviche with Castelvetrano Olives, Basil & Capers
Paired with Citra, Oakham Ales (4.6% ABV)
Californian Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Biscuit, Avocado, Sriracha Butter
Slaw & Pickles
Garden Salad with Vidacycle Verjus Dressing
Paired with 8 Ball Rye IPA, Beavertown Brewery (6.2% ABV)
Tartine’s Meyer Lemon Cream Tart, Meringue & Candied Peel
Paired with Tintin, Belgian Blonde, Leytonstone Brewhouse (6.2% ABV)
Chez Panisse’s Lemon Verbena Tea and Petit-fours
The beer: Bring along a bottle or two of beer, or anything else you fancy drinking. We’d suggest any U.S. craft ales that you can get your hands on… Or any of the numerous British ales recreating that US style. Think hops, hops and more hops.
The time: 2pm to 6pm, Sunday 15 November 2015
The place: Our home in Leytonstone, E11 4PR. Details will follow once you’ve booked.
The cost: Suggestion donation of £26 per person, payable in advance please. For three courses plus a few extras.
